Formerly known as Unboxing BLR Habba, BLR Hubba, is anchored by the UnboxingBLR Foundation. The etymology for the word ‘Hubba’ draws its inspiration from the Kannada ‘Habba’ using the phonetic version ‘Hub’ that also denotes BLR as a hub for just about anything.

BLR Hubba is Bengaluru's city festival and brings the city's community spaces to life by celebrating Bengaluru's diverse cultural treasures in performing and visual arts, literature, theatre, science, music, technology, design, and more. The 2024 edition runs from Nov 30 to Dec 15.

The first edition in 2023 had 200,000 visitors across 60 locations and had over 50 partners. The aftermovie of the 2023 edition can be viewed here.

BLR Hubba aims to catalyse community engagement and bring to life the city’s public spaces. We provide a platform for cultural organisations across the city to showcase their events throughout the year at our website blrhubba.in. In due course we hope this site will be the go to destination to find out What’s On in Bengaluru.

Every year for a fortnight, the annual BLR Hubba festival will be held. This year it is from Nov 30 - Dec 15. Over 500 individual sessions are planned across the city. Details are in the BLR Hubba (Nov 30 - Dec 15) section of the website. The sum is greater than the parts - we can make it happen collectively.
