Singer-Songwriter, Indie-Pop

linear presents 2 Much Music, celebrating two singer-songwriters, Imon (Guwahati, Assam) and Temsu Clover (Dimapur, Nagaland), who find their musical voices through their sense of home. While both singer-songwriters call North East India home, that is really where their similarities end and their distinctly unique journeys begin. While one is out and about in the world looking towards his homeland for inspiration, the other is firmly rooted in her homeland taking inspiration from the outer world.
Imon- Hoping for Something Better
Drawing inspiration from the landscapes and stories of his hometown Guwahati, Delhi-based singer-songwriter Imon performs a set that weaves music with storytelling around themes of time, hope, change and what it is to be ‘home’ and ‘away’. Imon’s music is rooted in his vocal performance which moves fluidly between quiet introspection and powerful, expressive highs. His songwriting aims to create a space of reflection about the aspects of our lives which are universal, like the desire to find meaning and hope in a rapidly changing world; much like the city of Bengaluru.
